In any case, as it sounds like your monitor has one of those options, give disabling DP1.2 a try and go back to DP1.1 or 1.0 settings, and then reconnect the monitor to the dock. Note disabling the DP1.2 capabilities will disable daisy chaining monitors, but if you're only intending to drive 2 external monitors this shouldn't be an issue. Depending on the model and firmware, it's usually enabling "SST" mode, or "DP1.2 disable", or sometimes even "MST disable". ![]() Because of this configuration, I've seen issues with Dell U2*15 models (especially the U2515 models, but the 2415 models are basically the same internally), where you have to disable DP 1.2 mode by changing options in the monitor configuration if using them with the Surface Dock. ![]() While /u/SurfaceDockGuy mentions making sure the monitors are in DP 1.2 mode, this is actually not a good idea with those specific monitors and the Surface Dock (which uses a DP redriver, meaning the packetized signal from the Surface is "re-driven" to the 2 DP ports on the dock, and then sent to the monitor (versus being sent from the initial DisplayPort port on the unit).
